Key Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians and experienced technicians during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures.
- Handle and restrain animals safely and humanely, ensuring their comfort and minimizing stress.
- Maintain cleanliness and sterilisation of examination rooms, surgical areas, and medical equipment.
- Prepare laboratory samples for analysis and assist with diagnostic imaging.
- Monitor hospitalised patients, reporting any changes in their condition to the veterinary team.
- Provide compassionate nursing care to animals, including feeding, walking, and administering medications under supervision.
- Educate pet owners on basic animal care, post-operative instructions, and preventative healthcare.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with front desk duties as needed.
- Learn and adhere to all clinic protocols, safety guidelines, and ethical standards.
