Key Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians and experienced technicians during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures.
  • Handle and restrain animals safely and humanely, ensuring their comfort and minimizing stress.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sterilisation of examination rooms, surgical areas, and medical equipment.
  • Prepare laboratory samples for analysis and assist with diagnostic imaging.
  • Monitor hospitalised patients, reporting any changes in their condition to the veterinary team.
  • Provide compassionate nursing care to animals, including feeding, walking, and administering medications under supervision.
  • Educate pet owners on basic animal care, post-operative instructions, and preventative healthcare.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and assist with front desk duties as needed.
  • Learn and adhere to all clinic protocols, safety guidelines, and ethical standards.
