Job Description
Hiring.zycto is actively seeking a diligent and motivated Warehouse Dock Worker for our Night Shift team in The Glebe, Ottawa. Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload freight by hand or using manual and powered equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts, after certification) from trucks and trailers.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against manifests or invoices, checking for discrepancies or damages.
- Organize and stack materials neatly and safely in designated warehouse locations.
- Assist with sorting, packing, and labeling products as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding operational issues or concerns.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliability and punctuality for scheduled night shifts.
- Basic communication skills in English.
