Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in a comprehensive culinary training program, learning various kitchen stations and techniques.
- Assist senior chefs with food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
- Learn and adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards, ensuring a clean and organized workstation.
- Follow recipes and instructions accurately to maintain quality and consistency of dishes.
- Help with plating and presentation of meals, ensuring dishes meet visual standards.
- Manage inventory and assist with stock rotation as directed.
- Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude, contributing to a supportive team environment.
- Take initiative to learn new skills and ask questions to deepen culinary knowledge.
- Assist with kitchen clean-up and dishwashing duties as needed.
