Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing government systems, processes, and technological infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
- Translate complex public sector challenges into clear, actionable technical requirements and functional specifications for development teams.
- Collaborate with government agencies and stakeholders to gather requirements, provide expert consultation, and facilitate the adoption of new technologies.
- Research and evaluate emerging GovTech solutions, vendors, and best practices to recommend optimal strategies and tools.
- Support the full project lifecycle, from initial concept and feasibility studies to implementation, testing, and post-launch evaluation.
- Develop and present reports, proposals, and briefings to senior government officials and technical teams.
- Participate in change management activities, ensuring smooth transitions and user adoption for new GovTech initiatives.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Public Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or a similar role, preferably within the public sector or consulting to government clients.
- Strong understanding of government operations, policy cycles, and the unique challenges of public sector technology adoption.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies, with the ability to draw insightful conclusions from complex datasets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation (e.g., requirements, specifications, reports).
- Familiarity with project management principles and software development lifecycles (SDLC).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional).
