Hiring.zycto is actively seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Waitress for immediate hire to join a thriving hospitality team in Everton, Liverpool. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon their arrival and escort them to their tables, presenting menus and daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, using a POS system, and relaying them promptly to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and gracefully, ensuring correct orders are delivered to the right tables.
- Anticipate guests' needs and respond to their requests promptly and professionally, ensuring a delightful dining experience.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash and card transactions responsibly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Assist with table setup, clearing, and resetting, ensuring the restaurant is always ready for the next service.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with patience and a problem-solving attitude, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, as well as food hygiene standards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Waitress or in a similar customer service role (minimum 6 months).
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tables simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 10kg.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with a Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Knowledge of food and beverage menus, including dietary requirements and allergens.
- A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
