Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled welders, fabricators, and tradespeople with various tasks on construction sites.
- Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, cleaning, deburring, and positioning components.
- Safely operate a variety of hand and power tools under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, ensuring compliance with all company and industry safety standards.
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment as required.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including consistent use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Support overall site operations to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Actively learn and apply basic welding techniques, processes, and blueprint reading as directed by experienced personnel.
- Perform other general labouring and support duties as assigned to contribute to the construction team's success.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, standing for extended periods, bending, and kneeling.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
