As our Communications Manager, you will be instrumental in defining and executing our overarching communication strategy. This involves a blend of proactive media relations, crisis communication management, and internal stakeholder engagement. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to translate business objectives into compelling communication plans, overseeing their implementation from concept to analysis. Your day-to-day could involve drafting press releases, developing engaging social media content strategies, preparing executive communications, or managing external agency relationships. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies aligned with organizational goals and brand objectives.
  • Manage all aspects of media relations, including writing press releases, media kits, and acting as a primary media contact.
  • Oversee content creation for various channels, including website, social media, internal communications, and executive presentations.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of communication campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Manage internal communications, ensuring employees are informed and engaged with company initiatives and values.
  • Develop and implement crisis communication plans, acting as a key spokesperson when necessary.
  • Collaborate with marketing, HR, and senior leadership teams to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
  • Mentor and guide junior communication professionals or team members.
  • Manage external agency relationships and vendor contracts related to communications.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to craft compelling narratives.
  • Proficiency in media relations, including experience managing media inquiries and developing press materials.
  • Strong understanding of digital communication channels and social media strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Crisis communication experience and issues management expertise.
  • Proficiency with communication and project management tools.
