Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in on-the-job training to learn safe and effective tree trimming, pruning, and removal techniques.
- Assist experienced tree surgeons with various groundwork tasks, including clearing branches, chipping debris, and raking.
- Learn to safely operate and maintain a range of arboricultural equipment, such as chainsaws, chippers, and hand tools.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols, industry best practices, and health and safety regulations at all times.
- Inspect trees for signs of disease, pests, or structural defects under supervision and report findings.
- Help with site preparation and clean-up, ensuring work areas are safe and tidy.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team, communicating effectively to ensure efficient and safe operations.
- Conduct daily checks on equipment and vehicles to ensure they are in good working order.

- Strong physical fitness and stamina for demanding outdoor work.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (rain, sun, cold).

Preferred Qualifications

- Any NPTC Unit qualifications (e.g., chainsaw maintenance, felling operations).
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential for career progression).
- First Aid certification.
