Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand event themes, color schemes, and budget requirements.
- Design and conceptualize unique and captivating balloon arrangements, sculptures, and installations.
- Source and manage high-quality balloon materials, equipment, and accessories.
- Prepare, inflate, and assemble balloons using various techniques (air-fill, helium-fill, twisting, framing).
- Transport and set up balloon decorations professionally at various event venues across Toronto.
- Ensure all installations are structurally sound, safe, and visually appealing.
- Break down and remove decorations post-event, adhering to venue guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and equipment.
- Stay updated on current balloon artistry trends, techniques, and safety standards.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of proven experience as a professional Balloon Artist.
- A strong portfolio showcasing diverse balloon artistry work.
- Exceptional creative design skills and an eye for aesthetics.
- Proficiency in various balloon construction techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client consultations.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, stand, and work for extended periods during setup/breakdown.
Preferred Qualifications
