Key Responsibilities

  • Shadow and assist senior transportation managers in daily operations, learning dispatch procedures, route planning, and logistics coordination.
  • Monitor and track shipments, ensuring timely delivery and proactively addressing potential delays or issues.
  • Learn to utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and other software tools for efficient data entry, reporting, and analysis.
  • Assist with fleet management tasks, including vehicle maintenance scheduling, driver assignments, and compliance checks.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Support in analyzing operational data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service quality.
  • Gain familiarity with transportation regulations, safety standards, and industry compliance requirements.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge of logistics, supply chain management, and leadership principles.

Required Skills

  • A valid G-class driver’s license with a clean driving record.
