Are you an experienced AWS Solutions Engineer passionate about architecting robust, scalable, and secure cloud environments? Hiring.zycto is seeking a talented individual to join our remote team, contributing to the design, implementation, and optimization of our AWS-centric solutions. As an AWS Solutions Engineer, you will be instrumental in transforming business requirements into elegant cloud architectures. You’ll be working hands-on with a broad spectrum of AWS services, from compute and storage to networking, databases, and serverless technologies. Your day-to-day will involve translating conceptual designs into tangible cloud deployments, developing infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, and implementing best practices for security, cost management, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect highly available, scalable, and secure solutions on the AWS platform.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
- Automate deployment, scaling, and management of cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud services and optimize application performance.
- Ensure adherence to AWS best practices for security, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor cloud environments, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions.
- Participate in defining and implementing cloud governance policies and standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members on AWS technologies.
- Stay current with new AWS services and industry trends, evaluating their potential for adoption.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in an AWS-focused engineering or architect role.
- Expertise in core AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway).
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts in AWS (VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
- In-depth knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional certification.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS).
- Familiarity with serverless architectures and event-driven design patterns.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Experience in a consulting or client-facing technical role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
