Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems for anomalies and respond to security incidents, alerts, and investigations promptly and effectively.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address security weaknesses.
- Implement, configure, and manage security tools and technologies such as SIEM, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint protection.
- Develop, update, and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees to foster a culture of cybersecurity vigilance.
- Participate in security architecture reviews to ensure new systems and applications are designed with security in mind.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to continuously improve our security posture.
- Assist in disaster recovery planning and business continuity efforts related to cybersecurity.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in a dedicated cybersecurity role.
- Proficiency with security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, EDR).
- Strong understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, and network security concepts.
- Experience with operating systems security (Windows, Linux).
- Knowledge of common attack vectors and mitigation strategies.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
