As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic, working closely with dentists, hygienists, and other support staff. Key Responsibilities
- Assist dentists and hygienists during a variety of dental treatments and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain the dental surgery, ensuring cleanliness and organisation.
- Sterilise instruments and maintain strict cross-infection control standards.
- Provide excellent patient care, ensuring comfort and putting anxious patients at ease.
- Accurately record patient information and maintain confidentiality.
- Manage and prepare dental materials and equipment as required for procedures.
- Support reception duties, including answering calls and scheduling appointments, as needed.
- Maintain stock levels of dental supplies and inform senior staff when reordering is necessary.
- Undertake continuous professional development and training as provided.
