Job Description
Hiring.zycto is seeking a proactive and experienced Janitorial Supervisor to join our team in Crookes, Sheffield. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and motivate a team of janitorial staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to company standards.
- Develop and manage work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor staff attendance and performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards are consistently met.
- Oversee the proper use, maintenance, and storage of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies.
- Order and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels while managing costs.
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations, including COSHH guidelines, to ensure a safe working environment.
- Address and resolve any cleaning-related issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Provide hands-on support with cleaning tasks when necessary, leading by example.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Collaborate with management to improve cleaning procedures and efficiency.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a janitorial or facilities management role.
- Thorough knowledge of cleaning methods, products, and equipment.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, including COSHH.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
