Key Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and standards.
- Support the cooking team with basic tasks such as plating, garnish, and simple assembly of dishes.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including washing dishes, sanitizing workstations, and sweeping floors regularly.
- Ensure proper storage and rotation of food items to minimize waste and comply with food safety guidelines.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and hygiene regulations and standards, including proper temperature control.
- Assist with receiving and stocking deliveries, ensuring items are stored correctly and efficiently.
- Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service operations.
- Follow instructions diligently from senior kitchen staff and management to achieve daily operational goals.
