Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, reinforcing academic concepts and assisting with assignments.
  • Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) under the direction of a certified teacher.
  • Observe and document student progress, behavior, and engagement, reporting findings to lead educators.
  • Assist with classroom management, ensuring a safe, orderly, and positive learning environment.
  • Prepare learning materials, set up equipment, and organize classroom resources.
  • Facilitate and supervise student activities, both academic and recreational.
  • Support students in developing positive social skills and self-regulation techniques.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student information and adhere to all school and company policies.
  • Attend training sessions and staff meetings to enhance professional development.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Demonstrated passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Basic computer proficiency for administrative tasks.

Preferred Qualifications
