Job Description

Embark on a critical mission with Hiring.zycto as a Remote Network Security Analyst, safeguarding our expansive digital landscape from emerging threats. In this vital role, you will be the vigilant guardian of our network infrastructure, designing, implementing, and monitoring security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure uninterrupted operations. This isn’t just about patching vulnerabilities; it’s about anticipating the next threat, evolving our defenses, and proactively securing complex systems against sophisticated cyber-attacks. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information systems.

As a core member of our geographically distributed security team, you will be instrumental in analyzing security events, conducting forensic investigations, and responding swiftly to incidents. This includes leveraging Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), and other advanced security tools to identify, triage, and mitigate potential breaches. You’ll work with state-of-the-art security technologies, collaborating closely with other cybersecurity specialists, IT operations, and development teams to foster a robust culture of security by design. Your expertise will directly influence our security posture, contributing to the resilience and integrity of our global operations. We expect you to be comfortable performing deep-dive analysis into network traffic, log data, and system configurations to uncover anomalies and indicators of compromise.

This remote opportunity offers the flexibility to work from your home base while remaining deeply connected to a collaborative and innovative team. We value independent problem-solvers who can thrive in an autonomous environment but also contribute effectively to group efforts. You’ll be expected to maintain high levels of communication, participate in virtual team meetings, and leverage digital collaboration tools to keep projects on track. Your insights will be crucial in developing and refining our security policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements such as NIST, ISO 27001, or GDPR. Furthermore, you will contribute to security awareness training programs, educating colleagues on best practices and emerging threats. We are looking for someone who is passionate about cybersecurity, thrives on challenging problems, and is committed to continuous learning in an ever-changing threat landscape. Join us and make a tangible impact on the digital security of a forward-thinking organization, where your contributions directly protect our assets and uphold our reputation.
