This position will involve working on-site at various locations primarily within the Liverpool area, necessitating access to your own professional equipment and reliable transport. Key Responsibilities
- Execute photographic assignments across diverse categories including, but not limited to, events, products, portraits, and corporate branding.
- Liaise directly with clients and project managers to understand specific briefs, objectives, and desired aesthetics for each shoot.
- Set up and manage lighting, backdrops, and other photographic equipment to achieve optimal results.
- Capture high-resolution images that meet quality standards and align with brand guidelines where applicable.
- Perform post-production tasks including image selection, colour correction, retouching, and cropping using industry-standard software.
- Maintain and care for photographic equipment, ensuring it is always in excellent working condition.
- Organize and archive digital assets efficiently for easy retrieval.
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to ensure visual content aligns with broader campaigns.
- Stay updated with current photography trends, techniques, and equipment advancements.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of professional photography experience with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse work.
- Proficiency with professional-grade DSLR/mirrorless cameras and various lenses.
- Expertise in studio and natural lighting techniques.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom for photo editing and retouching.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to direct subjects and interact with clients professionally.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Reliable access to your own professional photography equipment.
- Valid UK driving license and access to personal transport for travel to various locations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Experience with videography and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro).
