You will be responsible for the full spectrum of property management duties, from day-to-day operations and financial oversight to strategic planning and community engagement. This includes proactive tenant relations, swift resolution of maintenance issues, diligent lease administration, and the meticulous management of property budgets. We are looking for a leader who can not only manage tasks efficiently but also build strong relationships with tenants, contractors, and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of assigned residential or commercial properties.
- Manage tenant relations, including lease administration, move-ins, and move-outs.
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities, ensuring timely and quality repairs.
- Prepare and manage property budgets, financial reports, and rent collection.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and building standards.
- Implement marketing and leasing strategies to maintain high occupancy rates.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant landlord-tenant laws and regulations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in property management, preferably residential.
- Strong knowledge of property management software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, BuildingLink).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle emergencies and work under pressure.
- Valid Ontario driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications
- Registered Real Estate Salesperson or Broker in Ontario.
- CPM (Certified Property Manager) or R.P.M. designation.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Real Estate, or related field.
