As a Vehicle Recovery Operative, you will be the frontline hero for motorists in need. Your primary responsibility will involve responding to calls for assistance, ranging from jump-starts and tire changes to accident recovery and vehicle transport. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, a commitment to safety, and excellent problem-solving abilities. You’ll operate specialized recovery vehicles and equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient retrieval and transport of diverse vehicle types. Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to dispatch calls for roadside assistance and vehicle recovery.
- Safely operate and maintain specialized recovery vehicles, including tow trucks and service vehicles.
- Perform basic roadside services such as jump-starts, tire changes, lockout assistance, and fuel delivery.
- Assess vehicle damage and ensure secure hook-up and transport of vehicles following company safety protocols.
- Provide professional and empathetic customer service to motorists, often during stressful situations.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and digital logs accurately and efficiently.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of assigned vehicle and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, team members, and customers.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License (Class D or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, push/pull vehicles, and work in various weather conditions.
