Job Description
Hiring.zycto is on the lookout for a talented and driven Remote Data Engineer to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining scalable and efficient data pipelines that transform raw data into actionable insights for our business stakeholders. As a Remote Data Engineer, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and software engineers, to understand data requirements and deliver robust solutions.
You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of our data infrastructure, from ingestion and transformation to storage and accessibility. This includes developing ETL/ELT processes using modern data orchestration tools, optimizing data warehouse performance, and ensuring data quality and reliability across all systems. We are seeking someone passionate about data architecture, who can identify opportunities for improvement, implement best practices, and contribute to the evolution of our data ecosystem.
This role requires a deep understanding of cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), proficiency in programming languages like Python or Scala, and expert-level SQL skills. You will be working with large datasets, so experience with distributed processing frameworks such as Spark, Flink, or similar is highly valued. Your ability to troubleshoot complex data issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions will be critical to your success.
At Hiring.zycto, we believe in empowering our engineers with the tools and autonomy they need to excel. While remote, you will be an integral part of our team, participating in regular virtual stand-ups, planning sessions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. We are committed to creating an inclusive and supportive environment where every team member feels connected and valued, regardless of their physical location. If you are a self-starter with a strong analytical mindset, a passion for data, and the desire to build impactful data solutions in a dynamic, remote-first setting, we encourage you to apply and help us shape the future of our data landscape.
